Ordering & shipping
How long does delivery take?
Your total delivery time has two parts. We take 1 to 3 business days to verify and pack your order, then the carrier takes 5 to 7 business days to deliver within the contiguous U.S. In most cases you will receive your order within 6 to 10 business days from the date you placed it.
These are estimates based on typical carrier performance. Actual delivery times may vary depending on your location, carrier volume, and peak periods such as major holidays.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. Orders of $50.00 or more qualify for free standard shipping within the contiguous United States. The discount is applied automatically at checkout — no coupon code needed.
Orders under $50 ship at a flat rate of $5.00.
Which states do you ship to?
We ship to all addresses within the contiguous 48 states. We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, or APO/FPO/DPO addresses.
If you are unsure whether we can deliver to your address, email us before ordering and we will confirm.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
You can cancel or change your order within 12 hours of placing it. After that window, the order may already be in processing and we may not be able to make changes.
Email us at support@ateliervivant.com as soon as possible with your order number. If we are unable to stop the order, you can return it after delivery under our 30-day return policy.
How will I know when my order has shipped?
Once your order leaves our facility, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link. Use that link to follow your package through delivery.
If you have not received a tracking email within 3 business days of ordering, check your spam folder first. If it is not there, contact us with your order number and we will look into it.
My tracking says delivered but I have not received my package. What should I do?
This happens occasionally. Here are the steps we recommend:
First, check around your building entrance, mailroom, or with neighbors — carriers sometimes leave packages in unexpected spots or mark a delivery slightly early.
If you still cannot locate it after one additional business day, contact us at support@ateliervivant.com with your order number. We will open an investigation with the carrier and follow up with you.

What types of fans do you sell?
We carry three types of personal fans:
USB desk fans — plug directly into a laptop USB port or USB charger. Designed to sit on a desk, adjustable in tilt angle, and quiet enough for calls and focused work.
Handheld fans — battery-powered and compact. Built for commutes, outdoor use, or any situation where you do not have a desk or outlet nearby.
Portable desk fans — rechargeable and freestanding. Move them from room to room. A practical option for home offices, bedrooms, or travel.
Will a USB desk fan work with my laptop?
Most of our USB desk fans connect via a standard USB-A cable and draw low power (typically under 5W), which is within the output range of most laptop USB ports.
If your laptop only has USB-C ports, you will need a USB-A to USB-C adapter or a USB-C hub with USB-A ports. These are widely available and inexpensive.

How quiet are the fans? Will they disturb video calls or work?
Noise level is one of the main things we evaluate before listing any product. Most of our desk fans run at 35 to 45 decibels at mid speed — roughly comparable to a quiet library or a soft background hum.
At low speed, most models are quiet enough that colleagues on a video call will not notice. At higher speeds, some airflow noise is expected.
We note noise level information on individual product pages where we have measured data. If noise is a priority for your situation, check the product details or contact us and we can point you to the quietest models we carry.
How many speed settings do the fans have?
This varies by model. Most fans in our catalog offer between 3 and 5 fixed speed settings. Some models use a continuously adjustable dial rather than fixed steps.
The number of speed settings and the control type are listed on each product page. If you have a specific preference, feel free to ask us before ordering.
How long does the battery last on cordless models?
Battery life varies by model and speed setting. On low speed, most of our rechargeable fans run for 6 to 16 hours per charge. On high speed, battery life is shorter — typically 2 to 4 hours.
Exact battery life figures are listed on each product page. We recommend choosing a model with a battery range that covers your typical use session without needing to recharge mid-day.
Are the fans safe to run all day?
Yes. Our desk fans are designed for continuous use during normal working hours. They use low-power motors that do not generate significant heat during operation.
As with any electrical product, we recommend not leaving a fan running unattended for extended periods overnight, and to keep the fan away from water, liquids, and direct sunlight. Follow the safety instructions included in the product packaging.
Can I use a USB fan without a computer — plugged into a wall charger?
Yes, as long as the wall charger has a USB-A port and provides at least 5V/1A output, which most standard USB wall adapters do. The fan does not require a computer to operate — it draws power from any compatible USB power source.
Do the fans come with a warranty?
We stand behind the products we carry. If your fan develops a defect under normal use within 30 days of delivery, contact us and we will arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.
For issues that arise after 30 days, contact us and we will do what we can to help. Our goal is to make sure you end up with a product that works.
Returns & refunds
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible, the item must be unused, in its original condition, and returned with all original packaging and accessories.
To start a return, email us at support@ateliervivant.com with your order number and the reason for the return. We will respond with instructions. Please do not send anything back without approval first.

Who pays for return shipping?
It depends on the reason for the return.
We cover return shipping if the item arrived damaged, is defective, or we sent the wrong product. In these cases we will also refund the original shipping charge.
You cover return shipping if you changed your mind or the item is not the right fit. In this case, the original shipping fee is not refunded, but there is no restocking fee.
How long does a refund take?
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email. If the return is approved, the refund is issued within 3 to 5 business days to your original payment method.
After we issue the refund, your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post it to your account. This is outside our control.
My item arrived damaged. What do I do?
Contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@ateliervivant.com. Include your order number, a description of the damage, and photos or a short video showing the issue.
We will offer either a free replacement or a full refund, including shipping costs. You will not be asked to pay to return a product that arrived broken.

AtelierVivant is an online retail store operated by VOGUE CARRY LLC, a registered U.S. company based in Denver, Colorado. We sell exclusively online and focus on a small, carefully selected range of personal fans.
We do not manufacture the products we sell. We source from suppliers, evaluate each model before listing it, and handle all customer orders, support, and returns directly.

Our business is based in Denver, Colorado. We are an online-only retailer — we do not have a physical retail location.

Do you sell on Amazon or other marketplaces?
We sell exclusively through our own website at www.ateliervivant.com. We do not currently list products on Amazon, Walmart, or other third-party marketplaces. If you see AtelierVivant products listed elsewhere, they are not authorized by us.
