AtelierVivant is an online retailer of compact personal fans — USB desk fans, handheld fans, and portable battery-powered fans. We are operated by VOGUE CARRY LLC, a registered U.S. company based in Denver, Colorado. We sell exclusively online and ship to customers across the contiguous United States.

We do not manufacture fans. We find, evaluate, and list models that hold up to daily use — at an office desk, in a dorm room, or anywhere a bit of moving air makes a real difference.

Why we started

We kept running into the same problem: most fans were either large and hard to move, or inexpensive and not built to last. The market had plenty of options, but not many you would actually trust through a long workday or a warm summer night.

We wanted something different — a fan that runs quietly in the background, works off USB or a battery pack, and does not tip over or stop working after a few weeks. That is the gap AtelierVivant is built to fill.

What we sell

Our catalog focuses on three types of personal fans:

  • USB desk fans — Plug into a laptop or USB charger. Designed to sit on a desk without taking up much space. Most models are adjustable in tilt angle and run quietly enough for calls and focused work.
  • Handheld fans — Battery-powered and portable. Built for commutes, outdoor use, or any situation where you do not have a desk or outlet nearby.
  • Portable desk fans — Rechargeable and freestanding. Compact enough to move from room to room. A practical option for home offices, bedrooms, or travel.

We keep our catalog intentionally small. A shorter list means we can track how each product performs over time — what customers report after months of use, what holds up, and what needs to be replaced or removed.

What we look for before listing a product

We work with suppliers who meet a specific set of requirements before anything goes on the site:

  • Noise level — Quiet enough not to interrupt a video call or a night's sleep. We look for models that run without noticeable hum or rattle at mid speed.
  • Airflow across speeds — A real, noticeable difference between low, medium, and high. Not just a single setting labeled three different ways.
  • Stability — Will not tip on a desk, vibrate across a surface, or rattle during use.
  • Simple setup — Plug in and it works. No app, no pairing, no manual required.
  • Battery life (cordless models) — Long enough for a full workday or overnight use without constant recharging.

We require safety and compliance documentation from suppliers before listing a product. If you need documentation for a specific item, contact us and we will share what we have on file.

Who our products are for

Most of our customers spend long hours at a desk and do not have full control over the temperature around them. A few situations we hear about often:

  • Office workers — Many U.S. offices use shared central AC. The temperature is set for the building, not for individual workstations. A small USB desk fan gives personal control without adjusting a shared thermostat.
  • Remote workers and students — Working from home or studying in a dorm where a full AC unit is not practical. A compact fan that runs off a laptop USB port or power bank covers a lot of situations.
  • Light sleepers and warm bedrooms — Low-noise airflow for warm nights, without running central AC all night.
  • Commuters and outdoor use — Battery-powered handheld models for travel, long commutes, or anywhere you do not have an outlet nearby.

How we operate

We are not trying to have an answer for every situation. We would rather carry fewer things we are confident in than a long list we cannot stand behind.
